Ken Gotha

I have been a custom furniture designer and  furniture refinisher/restorer for 20 years. In the refinishing/restoring side of my business, I have given new life to dressers, cabinets, tables and chairs, particularly caned chairs. I am a one-stop-shop for furniture refinishing and re-caning. For example, the chair pictured here is a family heirloom, that I completely refinished and re-caned. It was owned by my grandmother and used by my mother at her writing desk, so I can easily imagine how valuable each piece of furniture is to its owner, and treat it with the respect it deserves. I find caning to be therapeutic and rewarding, and realize I am participating in a lost art that is still very much in demand. I service customers across New England and beyond, and readily communicate long-distance and manage logistics.
