I have been caning for 20 years and got started with my Father . He would be asked to do a caning project which he do, but it would take him away from his projects, so he asked me if I would be interested and I have been caning ever since. I do all chair weaving and multiple patterns. I really enjoy also repairing chairs and making them feel refreshed.

I am an experienced chair caner and seat weaver in the quaint and quiet town of Wallingford, Vermont.  My services include strand caning, pressed cane, fibre rush, flat reed weaving and binder caning (New England Porch weave).

Chair repair services include tightening and re-gluing of chairs, repairing or replacing broken parts and redoing seats with cane, rush, splint and Danish cord.
